Musical Theatre Lessons


Musical Theatre dance utilizes all forms of dance dependent upon time, place and script needs. You may have several types of dance appear in one show. It has a strong basis in social dances of each era and its historical influences. Musical Theater is not only “danced” but also “acted.” Musical Theater often requires the performer to sing, dance, and act all in one performance. Required classes for this study are Vocals and Jazz. Suggested classes that will help further this style: Acting, Ballet, Tap and Acrobatics.
